The process
The schema below presents the steps of the “Madagascar: mobile. . . ize for action” operation.

1. Your old used mobile phones are sent to Fonebak , a company specialized in the recovering of old mobiles.
2. Foneback recycles them and give the total amount collected thanks to your old mobile phones to the STOP Hunger program.
3. Through the STOP Hunger program, Sodexo contributes financially to this project by giving extra funds to the collected ones.
4. The collected funds are sent to Pronatura which is in charge of conducting a feasibility study to implement a bovine industry in Fort Dauphin. In the first place, a project for the rehabilitation of an abattoir is planned and €32,000 need to be collected to finance the study.
5. Sodexo Remote Sites will supervise this local initiative and will provide outlets for the bovine industry.
6. This initiative will help creating jobs and wealth for the Malagasy population in Fort Dauphin. It will also contribute to lower the poverty level.
